24/08/2008 Sidey Sponsors Open at
Falkland Golf Club
The 13th annual Falkland Golf Club Ladies & Senior Ladies Open was
held on Sunday 24th August and proved, once again, to be a huge
success! The day remained dry (even though a little blustery!) for
the 39 entrants, who enjoyed the demanding 9 hole course that the
Falkland Golf Club provides.
Sidey is proud to have sponsored this competition for the 13th year
in a row. |

Once the competition had been completed,
the Ladies enjoyed a lovely meal in the club house, that was served
by the Falkland Golf Club's Mens Captain, Bert Thomson.
Susan Ritchie and Valda
Wicks (pictured on the left), are both part of the sales team at
Sidey Ltd. Valda works
at the main showroom complex at 19 Feus Road in Perth, whilst
Susan works at the Monifieth Showroom, at Dobbies Garden World in
Monifieth, at the weekends.
