Changing text size in
Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 and 7:
1. Click on the 'View' button at the top of the browser window.
2. Move the mouse down the menu to 'text size' option.
3. Select your preferred text size from the options available.
Default text size is 'medium'.
Other option:
1. Hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard.
2. Whilst keeping the CTRL key held down, press the '+' key to increase
text size.
3. Whilst keeping the CTRL key held down, press the '-' key to decrease
text size.
4. Whilst keeping the CTRL key held down, press the '0' key to return
the text to normal size.
Changing text size in Mozilla Firefox:
1. Click on the 'View' button at the top of the browser window.
2. Move the mouse down the menu to the 'text size' option.
3. Click the 'increase' and 'decrease' options to change text size.
Clicking 'normal' will return the text to default size.
Other option:
1. Hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard.
2. Whilst keeping the CTRL key held down, press the '+' key to increase
text size.
3. Whilst keeping the CTRL key held down, press the '-' key to decrease
text size.
4. Whilst keeping the CTRL key held down, press the '0' key to return
the text to normal size.
Launching the Magnifier in Windows XP:
1. Click the 'start' menu in the bottom left hand corner.
2. Click the 'run' option.
3. In the 'open' box, type 'magnify', then click the 'okay' button.
4. At the top of the screen you will see a narrow bar - this is the
window that displays the zoomed in area.
5. Using the mouse pointer as your magnifying glass, move around the
screen and observe the bar at the top.
6. The size of the bar at the top is adjustable, by dragging the bottom
border of it up or down. |
