A thin coating is applied to the inner pane of a double glazed unit which reflects long wave internal heat back into the building while allowing short wave solar heat to enter into the building. All Sidey windows are supplied with a Low E-glass coating.

WER Argon Filled Glass
Argon gas is a colourless, odourless, non flammable, non-reactive inert gas. A dry gas in the sealed space between the glass panes reduces heat loss by reducing conductive and convective heat transfer. Argon is the preferred gas as it offers best value and works well with Low-E coated glazing.
