Melville’s Director of Technical Services explained - “Partnerships are
proven to work well and build long term relationships. Sidey are the
best possible contractor for this job and faced an extremely robust
process to win this contract. We are looking forward to building a
strong working relationship with Sidey”.

was speaking at the signing ceremony, which took place at Melville’s
head office in Dalkieth. On display at the signing was Sidey’s Energy
Rated ‘Solartherm’ Window that will be used in the refurbishment
programme.
Derek
Archbold, Melville’s Planned Maintenance Manager said –“The
specification of the new windows will improve energy efficiency which
will significantly help to reduce tenants fuel bills and keep their
houses warmer in the winter months.”
Brian
Christie, Melville’s Chairman commented – “On behalf of Melville I would
like to say that we are very happy to have signed this contract with
Sidey and look forward to a successful partnership for window
installations to approximately 900 houses over the next 2 years. This
will help Melville to achieve the SHQS.
Sidey were
represented by Commercial Sales Director Steve Hardy who said: “Sidey
are extremely pleased to have been chosen as Melville’s Partner for this
particular project and we look forward to working with Melville and
their tenants alike.
Mr Hardy
went on to explain, “The tenants are at the very heart of this
Partnership and we believe that honest, open communication is paramount
to successfully fulfil the needs of all parties involved.”
The
Partnership Charter is designed to keep the Association, Tenants and
Sidey working together smoothly with open lines of communication
throughout the duration of the partnership.
