The Sky is the Limit for Charity Balloon Race!
The sky was painted red, black
and yellow at this years Highland Games, as hundred’s of brightly
coloured balloons were released in aid of charity.
Perth based company Sidey
organized the balloon race to raise funds for the Highland Hospice,
which provides services for adults with incurable life limiting disease
in the Highlands of Scotland.
The Hospice relies entirely
on the generosity of the Highland community to raise more than £42,000
that is required every week to keep services running.
Mandy Gunn from Sidey said:
“We are delighted that we could do something to help raise much needed
funds for this extremely worthy charity.
“We had a great day at the Highland Games and are excited about finding
out how far the winners balloon has travelled.”
The lucky winner of the
balloon race will receive an annual family pass to Landmark Forest Theme
Park in Inverness. |
