Scratched Glass
Perth based Sidey have launched an exciting new product that not only
eliminates Scratched glass but saves money. The Sidey ScratchGard System
is the only factory applied protective coating available in Scotland and
is exclusive to Sidey.
Sidey’s Commercial Sales Director, Steve Hardy said that Scratchgard
could save customers up to £600 per plot. He said: “We invoiced one of
our customers this week for 50 replacement units across 7 plots,
totaling £4700, an average of £700 per plot.
“The cost for the supply of ScratchGard to a standard house type, to
both inner and outer panes would be £100 per plot. Therefore ScratchGard
would have saved this customer £600, which is a massive saving,
especially in this challenging climate.”
ScratchGard is a UV stable, weather resistant, factory applied
protective coating. It helps to prevent glass in windows and doors being
damaged or marked due to abrasion, overspray of solvents, paints,
mortar, render and the like during the construction process. The system
will provide valuable protection for up to 6 months and simply peels
off, cleaning the glass in the process.
