Sidey get the stamp of approval

Sidey have been awarded the Quality Mark from the UK Timber Frame Association, which is part of a scheme that has been introduced by the UKTFA and offers a benchmark for suppliers, manufacturers, designers and erectors that provides sufficient confidence in their companies and products for them to be specified in the UK.

In order to qualify for the scheme companies must meet high standards in a number of categories, as Stewart Dalgarno, Chairman of the UK Timber Frame Association explains:

UKTFA Q Mark

“Quality Assurance is central to the UK timber frame industry as its market share grows. The UKTFA introduced the Q Mark for Suppliers in 2007 and to qualify for the scheme, suppliers must meet high standards in health & safety, environmental and business management, insurance, chain of custody and other essential codes. It is the only fully integrated quality assurance scheme in the construction sector from suppliers through to design, manufacturing and erecting.”

Steve Hardy, Sidey’s Commercial Sales Director said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the Q Mark from the UK timber frame association. Sidey are extremely committed to ensuring that we provide the highest quality products and service combined with the very best innovative solutions in all aspects of our business.”
