108 properties throughout Menstrie in
Clackmannanshire will receive new kitchens & bathrooms as part of the
Councils Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) regeneration
programme. The SHQS defines what constitutes acceptable good quality
housing. Local authorities and other registered social landlords will
have until 2015 to meet the standard.
David Brownlie Sidey’s Commercial Sales
Manager said; “Sidey are currently involved in a number of regeneration
projects throughout Scotland which is fantastic as it allows us to help
RSL’s and Local Authorities towards reaching the Scottish Housing
Quality Standard, whilst improving the properties for tenants.
David Brownlie continued; “Sidey are
looking forward to building a successful working relationship with
Clackmannanshire Council and their tenants alike.”
The project is due to commence
October 2008 and tenants will be able to choose from a variety of
kitchen worktops, doors, tiles, flooring, wallpaper and paint as well as
bathroom tiles, wallpaper, paint and flooring. |
