Ancho Call Upon the Services of Sidey

Ancho Housing Association has called upon the services of Perth based company Sidey for the second time this year in order to help them towards achieving the Scottish Housing Quality Standard. The new Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) defines what constitutes acceptable good quality housing. Local authorities & other registered Social Landlords will have until 2015 to meet the standard.

Following the success of Sidey’s first contract with Ancho, the Housing Association selected Sidey to carry out extended works, replacing windows and doors to terraced houses in Kilwinning. The company is responsible for the successful management of the project, from maintaining on site presence right from the early stages, through to designing tenant choice forms and offering technical support and advice.

David Brownlie, Sidey’s Commercial Sales Manager commented: We would like to thank Ancho once again for selecting Sidey to carry out this project. We have built a strong working relationship over the two contracts not only with Ancho but with the tenants alike.
“Customer Satisfaction is extremely important to Sidey and we are delighted that through our experience, products and service’s we can help RSL’s and Local Authorities towards reaching the Scottish Housing Quality Standard”.

Scott Hutchison, Property Services Manager at Ancho, said: “Our tenants have welcomed these recent improvements and I know they are extremely pleased with the quality of the product’s, service and response that Sidey have provided.”

The project is due to finish at the end of October 2008.
