The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC)
operates a UK national rating system for the thermal performance of
windows. BFRC rates windows sold in the UK to allow consumers, developers and
the government to assess how energy efficient windows are.
Sidey's
window energy ratings:

Windows that achieve a BFRC rating of C and above can be
certified under the Energy Saving Trust's Recommended Scheme.
The Sidey
Solartherm range
offers the best solution to low maintenance, high performance,
thermally efficient windows that are fully recyclable and
sustainable. |

Effective Double Glazing can significantly reduce heat loss
through your windows and when Low-E Glass (low emissivity glass) is used
your windows will become even more energy efficient, reducing heating
bills as well as your carbon footprint.
A thin coating is applied to the inner pane of a double
glazed unit which reflects long wave internal heat back into the
building while allowing short wave solar heat to enter into the
building. All Sidey windows are supplied with a Low E-glass coating. |

Argon gas is a colourless, odourless, non flammable,
non-reactive inert gas.
A dry gas in the sealed space between the glass panes reduces heat loss
by reducing conductive and convective heat transfer. Argon is the
preferred gas as it offers best value and works well with Low-E coated
glazing.
Key advantages
●
Improved Thermal Insulation
●
Improved Sound Insulation
●
Cost Effective
●
Reduced Heating Bills
●
Reduced Carbon Footprint |

Super Spacer is a thermally efficient Spacer Bar that can
significantly reduce heat loss through your windows. Made from a
pre-desiccated, structural foam, this Thermo Set Structural technology
gives the ultimate in high performance spacer systems.
Super spacers have a 100% elastic recovery which significantly reduce
thermal stress breakdown, the main reason for failure in conventional
double glazed units, and is proven to reduce noise transmission by up to
2dB.
Key Benefits:
●
Improved Energy Ratings
●
950 Times Less Conductive than Aluminum
●
Up to 70% Reduction in Condensation
●
Up to 65% Increase in Edge Temperature
●
Up to 2db in Noise Reduction |
