What is ISO 14001 and how does this benefit me?
ISO 14001 is the world’s most recognised Environmental Management System which helps improve the environmental performance of our business. This international environmental management certification covers all aspects of our business including the manufacturing and installation of all of our products and assists in making our day-to-day operations more sustainable.
BENEFIT: Sidey holds the latest 14001-2015 Environmental Management standard which considers multiple aspects of our business procurement, storage, distribution, product development, manufacture, installation etc. to reduce our impact on the environment. It also drives how we manage emergency response, customer expectations, stakeholders and our relationship with the local communities we work in. Sidey has developed a Total Waste Recycling Strategy in conjunction with this standard which allows us to recycle 100% of manufacturing waste and upwards of 95% on-site waste. Sidey offers this as added value assisting in lowering our customer’s carbon footprint with zero waste to landfills. We provide 100% recycling solutions and a fully traceable audit trail.

Q: What is ISO 45001-2018 (SSIP) and how does this benefit me?
A: ISO 45001-2018 replaces the 18001 standard and is the world’s first global health and safety management system supporting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. This international occupational health and safety management system demonstrates Sidey’s commitment to ensuring decent work conditions, prevent work-related injury, provide safe and healthy workplaces for all, wellbeing and equality practices.
BENEFIT: ISO 45001-2018 is the latest Occupational Health & Safety standard awarded for our Health & Safety procedures across all of our operations in the manufacture and installation of all our products. This latest standard also includes Construction Design Management (CDM) for both Designer & Contractor ensuring all works carried out by Sidey is to the highest Health and Safety standards assuring our customers they are in the safest hands.

BS 8213- 4:2016 – Certificate Number KM 510500 The very latest standard for the survey and installation of Windows and Doors, encompassing the very latest design considerations and updated regulatory requirements including fire, thermal design and installation
What is ISO 8213-4 and how does this benefit me?
BS 8213- 4 is the internationally recognised code of conduct for survey and installation of non-loadbearing windows and external door sets of any material, to be installed vertically (within 15°) into the external face of buildings.
BENEFIT: Sidey hold the latest BS 8312-4:2016 certification with encompasses the very latest design considerations and updated regulatory requirements including fire, thermal design and installation. This standard is in line with the latest building regulations for Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. All Sidey Surveyors and Installers undertake their work in line with this latest standard assuring our customers the survey and installation is carried out to the latest regulations and highest quality.

BS 7412:2007 / PAS 24:2016 – Certificate Number KM 547423 is the British Standard product specification for enhanced security performance for PVCu Window Manufacturing.
