Why Sidey?
Sidey has worked in occupied properties for more than 86 years and worked with local authorities and housing associations for over 20 years.
We offer a comprehensive service to customers including dedicated account managers. It’s what our customers have told us works best when delivering projects for both Local Authorities and Housing Associations so we ensure you have a dedicated account manager for your project.
Customers have a named person who knows their job inside out, assuring confidence when liaising directly with your occupants. Having one main contact at Sidey means customers can get information fast.
Sidey’s extensive experience and expertise makes us the first choice for delivering window and door installations for local authorities and housing associations.
Scottish Procurement Alliance
The Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) offers assurances to local authorities and housing associations when choosing a partner for window and door projects. We understand how vital it is for local authorities and housing associations to show transparency of their decision-making processes, and the SPA framework makes it quicker and easier for them to find partners for PVCu and timber windows and external doors.
SPA offers pre-checks for quality and price, and a score for the most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) is given. Sidey scored as the top company for ‘MEAT’ in all five geographical areas covering Scotland from the Highlands and Islands to Southern Scotland. It’s only a select few companies that make it onto the list, so to be top overall shows excellent performance for Sidey’s products, service and installation guaranteeing you best value.
In addition to SPA we are also on other frameworks including PFH (Procurement for Housing Scotland), along with many school and social landlord frameworks. Contact us for references.

Working with you
We offer support for you from the start to the finish of every project. We understand what is required for this sector, and offer the assistance that is tailored for you and your tenants and residents. The procurement process within local authorities and housing associations often requires information beyond the products and services. We have a dedicated procurement team to create a package that covers the complete project that includes additional information for Health and Safety, the environment and support in the community.
Sidey often work with specifiers and architects during the early stages of the design therefore we can also help create best value solutions for windows and doors. View our Case Studies
Working with your residents
We have the experience and expertise when it comes to working with tenants and residents. Whether it’s before, during or after the installations, we offer tenant and resident support.
Before the work starts, we have available information that explains what is going to happen during the installation. If your tenants and residents have options on colours or designs, we ensure they have the information they need to make their decision.
We contact tenants and residents directly and understand the importance of care and attention. An information pack including the use and care for Sidey’s windows and doors is also given to your tenants and residents on completion.
