Sidey is proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone as Fabricator Andy McIntyre marks 40 years of service with the company.
Andy was presented with his 40-year service gift during a special presentation attended by the Production Management Team and Supervisors in the Conference Room at Target House, recognising four decades of dedication, craftsmanship and commitment.
During his 40 years with Sidey, Andy has played an integral role in the company’s success, with thousands upon thousands of windows and doors passing through his hands. Renowned for the quality of his work, he has also made a significant contribution through the training, coaching and mentoring of colleagues, helping to develop generations of employees within the business.
Speaking at the presentation, Sidey’s Operations Director, Ewan Lindsay, paid tribute to Andy’s contribution:
“Today, we are here to recognise Andy McIntyre’s 40 years of service with Sidey. Forty years as a fabricator is a very special achievement.
Over that time, thousands upon thousands of windows and doors have passed through Andy’s hands. He is known not only for the high quality of his work, but also for the training, coaching and mentoring he has given to others.
Andy’s contribution to Sidey’s development over the past 40 years has been significant, and the company has been very fortunate to have his dedication, skill and commitment over so many years. On behalf of the company, I would like to thank him sincerely for his service, hard work and efforts over all these years.”
Following the presentation, Andy reflected on his four decades with Sidey, expressing his appreciation for his work colleagues, supervisors, managers and the company. He also thanked the business for the anniversary gift, which he and his wife are looking forward to enjoying together.
Ewan Lindsay added:
“People like Andy are at the heart of Sidey. Reaching 40 years of service is an exceptional achievement and a testament not only to his dedication but also to the relationships he has built and the respect he has earned throughout the company.
