A dedicated group of parents at Viewlands Primary School in Perth has been working towards a shared goal: creating a playground where every child can play, learn and enjoy time together.
Through the Growing Together Playground Development fundraiser, the parent-led team aims to transform the school’s outdated playground into a safe, inclusive and sustainable outdoor space for pupils.
Sidey is proud to have donated £300 towards the project on behalf of our Sales Manager, Lisa Sime, whose daughter Ava attends the school.
With support from Aviva Foundation match funding, our donation helped take the fundraiser close to its target. Reaching this milestone meant so much to the parents who have invested their time, energy and determination into bringing their vision to life.
The project is a wonderful example of what a community can achieve when people come together. For Lisa and Ava, it also has a personal connection, supporting improvements to a space that Ava and her school friends use every day.
We’re pleased to have played a small part in helping the team reach their fundraising goal and look forward to seeing their plans take shape, benefiting children at Viewlands for many years to come.
